공덕, 믿음, 42수안 19) Vimalakirti Sutra - 20241102

공덕을 쌓는 것은 결코 충분지 않습니다. 충분하다고 생각해서는 안 됩니다. 공덕을 쌓을 때마다 자신의 법신을 장엄하는 것입니다. 이는 자신을 위한 것입니다. 손해를 본다고 생각하지 마세요. 오히려 이익을 얻고 있는 것입니다. 법신을 장엄하고 싶다면 더 많은 공덕을 계속 쌓아야 합니다. 이렇게 해서 지혜도 발전하는 것입니다.

 

믿음에는 두 가지가 있습니다. 첫 번째는 信解입니다. 이는 불법을 들을 때 조금의 의심도 없이 받아들이는 것을 의미합니다. 올바른 가르침과 원리를 들었을 때 "그게 맞는 것 같다"고 느낀다면, 이는 엄청난 복이 있다는 증거입니다. 이는 수행에 매우 중요합니다. 둘째, 선지식, 즉 당신을 훈련하고 가르치는 스승을 믿어야 합니다. 우리는 왜 스승이 그렇게 행동하는지 잘 알지 못하기 때문입니다.

 

42수안을 수행할 때, 사실상 42가지 다른 무기를 다루고 있는 것입니다. 이 42수안은 여러 가지 이유로 여러분에게 유용할 것입니다. 언젠가는 이들이 유용하다고 느낄 때가 올 것입니다. 이 42수안을 수행하면 보살의 모든 지위를 달성하게 될 것입니다. 매번 이를 독송할 때마다 보살이 되는 씨앗을 심고 있는 것입니다. 각각의 수안은 보살의 지위에 해당됩니다.

 

제가 여러분에게 42수안을 전수하면 생생세세에 걸쳐 다시 전수를 받을 수 있습니다. 42수안을 수행하기 위해서는 전수가 필요합니다. 우리의 보호 없이는 이를 수행할 수 없습니다. 수행을 성취할 수 없습니다. 우리는 여러분들이 수행할 수 있도록 호법들을 보내야 합니다. 따라서 인터넷에서 이를 몰래 가져가는 것은 가치가 없습니다. 효과가 없습니다. 누군가에게 전수될 때마다 그 사람이 수행할 수 있도록 호법이 할당됩니다. 몰래 가져간다면 성공적으로 수행할 수 없습니다. 올바른 훈련을 받은 사람의 1,000분의 1의 효과밖에 얻을 수 없습니다.

 

When you create merit and virtue, it's never enough. Don't ever think you've done enough. Every time you create merit and virtue, you are adorning your Dharma body. It's for yourself. Don't think you're taking a loss. You're gaining. If you want to adorn your Dharma body, you have to keep creating more blessings. That's how they also develop wisdom.

 

There are two kinds of faith. The first is the faithful understanding. It means that when you hear the Buddha Dharma, you have no doubt whatsoever. That's a real treasure for you. When you hear the proper teaching, the proper principles, you say that makes sense to me. That shows that you have tremendous blessings. This is critical for your cultivation.

Second, you need to believe in your good-knowing advisor, the teacher who trains and teaches you because you really don't have any clues as to why he's doing things.

 

When you recite the 42 hands and eyes, you actually are working on 42 different types of weapons. Once I transmit to you the 42 hands and eyes, lifetime after lifetime, you'll be able to receive transmission again. All these 42 hands and eyes are useful to you for various reasons. There will come a time in when you probably find them useful.

 

When you practice these 42 hands and eyes, you're going to reach all the Bodhisattva positions. Every time you recite them, you're actually planting the seeds for you to become the Bodhisattvas. It's priceless. Each hand corresponds to a Bodhisattva position.

 

You need transmission of 42 hands and eyes. Without protection from us, you cannot practice them. You will not be able to accomplish your practice. We have to send Dharma protectors to protect you. So it's not worthwhile for you to steal it from the internet. It doesn't work. Every time it's transmitted to someone, you are assigned some protection so that you can practice. So if you steal it, you will not be able to practice successfully. It's like 1,000th the effect of someone who has proper training.
